Solar access is the simulation tool that enables the designer to check the performance of each solar panels placed over the roof. Let us watch how it functions in this video,

SOLAR ACCESS.

Solar access simulation provides the impact of shade on the panels. One can check the rooftop panel's performance by this tool.

In this feature, you can find the 3 colour pattern available,

This information gives a clear picture of the performance of solar panels over near shading.

OPTIMIZE.

The designer can always have the choice to optimize the design. for this select the panel or sub-array and use the optimize function form the action bar provided right.

You can able to see the scroll bar and below the values that can be edited.

SCROLL BAR.

By this, one can drag the bar so that the panels get added or removed based on the direction of the movement on the bar.

Here you can see the panels with low solar access are removed automatically as scrolled.

You can also directly enter the desired range of access that the entire roof needs to get access. say suppose 95%, then you can enter the same values and press enter. you can now see only the panels that have more than 95% solar access value.

By this way, one can use solar access to optimize the rooftop design effectively.
