Placing solar panels(with solar access)

Once the polygon for the roof is ready, one can quickly add panels to the roof by 3 ways,

How to do these panel placing ways in the app is given in previous articles. Here, in this article, we shall discuss particularly Fill face and adding sub-array in this video,

FILL FACE;

· Select the roof where the panel needs to be added.

· Click on the ‘fill face’ option available right side of the control panel.

You will be able to see the maximum possible number of panels added on the roof. Once panels have been placed, save the design and after that solar access will be enabled.

Select the Solar access option on the left side of the panel layout and click ‘show’.

· You can able to see the colour pattern on the panels based on their potential.

· Use the ‘optimize’ option on the action panel to select the desired range of panels needed to be placed.

SUB-ARRAY;

· Click the option add sub-array on panels section and select the area to add sub-array.

· Draw the boundaries along the roof where you would like your panels to be placed.

ADD TABLE;

· Click the roof and select the option add table.

· Select the table length and width of the number of panels you would like to place in your table. The table will move along with your cursor and click to place on the roof. Once you have completed placing the panels, click on complete.
