The four required fields
When you click Create Lead, you’ll see a simple form:
Full Name — Person you’re speaking with.
Email — Best contact email (use a valid format like
[email protected]).Site Address — Project location (street, city, state, ZIP/postal code).
Site Type — Choose Residential or Commercial (or your org’s available types).
That’s it. No extra fields. Keep it clean; fix details later if needed.

1) Where is the Create Lead button?
On the Leads page header, next to Search/Filter.
2) What fields are mandatory?
Exactly four: Full Name, Email, Site Address, Site Type.
3) Which stage does the lead start in?
The first stage of the current pipeline you selected at the top-left.
4) Can I edit the lead after creating it?
Yes. Open Lead Summary → Site Info to update any details.
5) How do I start design work after creating a lead?
Go to Lead Summary → Designs → Create Design (choose PV, PV+ESS, or ESS-Only).
6) Can I add more details after creating the lead?
Yes. Add them under Lead Summary → Site Info.
7) I created a lead in the wrong pipeline. What now?
Under site info go to the Pipeline info tab and update it there.
