How to Place an Order for a Solar Sales Proposal in ARKA 360

This article, will guide you through the steps to place an order for a Solar Sales Proposal in ARKA 360.

Step 1: Access the Order Form

  1. Go to the Design Tab in the Lead Summary.

  2. Click on Order Now for the Solar Sales Proposal.


Step 2: Update Utility Rate and Consumption Profile

  • Utility Rate:

    • Choose between a custom tariff or rates from Geneability.

    • For this order, I’ll use a custom tariff.

    • Update the time of use rate or enter a flat rate.

  • Net Metering Options:

    • Selected by default.

    • Switch to Feed-in Tariff or Net Billing if applicable.

    • Add the price per kWh and keep the default escalation rate if needed.

    • Toggle Zero Export or Export Only as required.

  • Consumption Profile:

    • Upload Green Button Data or spreadsheet interval data.

    • For this location, I’ll manually enter the monthly electricity bill data.

    • Enter data for all 12 months or use an average monthly energy estimate for the initial proposal.

Once completed, click Save and Next.


Step 3: Select Components

  • Choose modules and inverters for the proposal.

  • Update pricing and set an optimization target.

Step 4: Configure Storage Solutions

  • Select between a Partial Home Backup or Full Home Backup, based on the lead’s requirements.

  • Choose the manufacturer, model, and quantity of batteries.

  • Add pricing for the battery system.

Step 5: Advanced Pricing, Adders, and Incentives

  • Under Advanced Pricing:

    • Add maintenance costs and accelerated depreciation.

  • Under Adders and Discounts:

    • Specify additional costs or discounts.

    • Include items like main panel relocation under Incentives.

  • Incentives:

    • Federal ITC is added by default.

    • Add any other applicable incentives.

  • Financing:

    • Update the financing option (e.g., loan from Goodleap).


Step 6: Finalize and Place the Order

  1. Update contact information and upload supporting documents.

  2. Click Submit to view the payment options.

  3. Select the delivery time, then click Pay Now to place the order.


Order Status

Once the order is placed, its status will be visible under the Design Tab in the Lead Summary page.
