How to create new Tariff?
The ToU tariff is usually divided into multiple tiers and periods. Within each tiers, the ToU may be divided into multiple periods.
Step 1. To create your own ToU rates go to Organization Settings in the dashboard page. Click on 'Tariff Rate' option.
Step 2. Click on 'Create New Tariff' button to create new Tariff.
Step 3. Now, add Utility Provider and Utility Rate. If the Utility provider is not provided click on 'Add New Utility Provider'.
Step 4. For setting different tiers under one period, click on 'Add Tier'. If their are more then 1 period, click on 'Add New Period' and then add different tiers. You can define Limits and Rates/ Unit on the basis of each tier.
Step 5. Now to set a schedule according to period by clicking twice on schedule and enter the period no. from keyboard. You can select and drag the for changing the schedule. If you have multiple periods, select the time and enter the period from keyboard.
Step 6. Click on 'Create Tariff' for creating new tariff. This will get reflected when you will add consumption.
How to add consumption as ToU?
Step 1. Click on 'Add Consumption' in Project Summary page.
Step 2. Click on 'Time of Use Rates' and select 'Utility Source', 'Utility Provider' and 'Utility Rate' from the list. Also, enter 'Tariff Escalation Rate'.
Step 3. Select 'Consumption Type' and from the pre listed consumption profile, select a profile. You can also enter critical load if you want this to be considered in battery calculation.
Step 4. Now, 'Add Consumption profile based on Consumption'. You can choose either between 'Average Monthly consumption' or 'Up to 12 months Energy Usage'. Now click on 'Update' to save and continue to design summary page to calculate financials based on ToU.
