Introducing the ability to select map base imagery for your project. We are providing three options: Google Maps (default option), Bing Maps, and ArcGIS ESRI Maps. To select the map, go to the Design Studio page, and follow these steps:

  1. Select "Add Map" option from "Layers" menu

2. From the option "Select other sources", select the source you want to use. You can try out multiple sources before deciding what to use.

3. Click on "Update" to confirm the changes

4. The previously selected images can be seen in the same dialog box, under "Previous selection" and images can be selected from here as well.

The map imagery will now be updated for this design. Moving forward, we shall also be extending the option of uploading images and extend the number of sources we fetch from.

Note:

Bing and ESRI do not have full India coverage at zoom level and sometimes you will see "Image not available. Please select a different source." error while trying to select Bing and ESRI image.

Mirror objects

Introducing the ability to mirror the objects, especially useful for making double-sided sheds. To mirror a polygon, follow these steps:

  1. Select the polygon to mirror

  2. Copy the object and bring it to placement (Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V)

  3. Press 'm' for mirror

  4. Select the side along which the mirror has to be performed

  5. Place the object at the desired place by using the left click of the mouse
