Accessing Incentives
Navigate to Pricing and Financing:
Open your residential design and head to the Pricing and Financing section.
Incentive Section Overview:
Here, you'll find a dropdown menu under Incentives, which displays pre-applied options, such as the federal ITC of 30%.
Creating and Selecting Incentives
Using Existing Incentives:
Select Incentives from the List:
Click the dropdown to view existing incentives.
Choose an incentive by selecting it from the list.
Creating Custom Incentives:
Click on Create Incentives:
Use the Create Incentives button to define a new incentive.
Define Key Parameters:
Incentive Name: Specify the name of the new incentive.
Incentive Type: Choose one of the following options:
Fixed Grant: Set a fixed dollar amount as the incentive (e.g., $15,000).
System Cost-Based Grant: Define a percentage of the system cost as an incentive, with an optional hard cap.
Example: For an $80,000 system, if the incentive is 50% but capped at $30,000, the incentive will be $30,000.
System Production-Based Grant:
Specify a dollar amount per kilowatt of system production.
Add escalation factors (percentage increase year-on-year).
Define the duration for which the incentive applies (e.g., 5 or 10 years).
System Size-Based Control:
Set a dollar amount per kilowatt of system size.
Add an optional hard cap to limit the maximum incentive.
Applying Custom Incentives
Select from the List:
Once created, your custom incentives will appear in the dropdown menu.
Add to Design:
Select the desired incentive from the list, and it will be applied to your design.
