Dual Axis Tracker

We are excited to introduce the Dual Axis Tracker feature in our latest release. This enhancement is designed to meet the growing needs of designers tackling large-scale commercial projects within limited spaces and in regions with low solar irradiance coupled with high energy consumption requirements.

Dual Axis Trackers represent a significant advancement in solar tracking technology. Unlike Single Axis Trackers, which only follow the sun's movement along one axis, Dual Axis Trackers can adjust both horizontally and vertically. This capability allows them to maintain an optimal angle relative to the sun throughout the day and across seasons, significantly boosting energy capture and generation efficiency.

Key enhancements in this release include:

  1. Design Defaults Integration

The Dual Axis Tracker has been added as a new structure type within the Tracker racking category, allowing designers to easily select and integrate this advanced technology into their projects.

  2. Design Studio Enhancement

We have introduced a new dropdown option labeled "Dual Axis Tracker" under the structure type for racking types in the Design Studio. This addition simplifies the process of specifying and configuring Dual Axis Trackers within project designs.

  3. 3D Visualization

To aid in planning and visualization, a 3D view of the Dual Axis Tracker has been implemented. This feature provides a detailed visual representation, enhancing the design and presentation process.

  4. Generation Calculations

Our generation calculation algorithms have been updated to accurately reflect the increased efficiency of Dual Axis Trackers, ensuring precise energy output predictions.

  5. Bill of Materials (BOM)

The BOM now includes the new structure type, ensuring that all necessary components are accounted for in project planning and procurement.

  6. 3D Animation

Detailed 3D animations of both Dual Axis and Single Axis Trackers have been created to assist in understanding their operation and benefits.

This feature is set to revolutionize how designers approach solar projects, providing them with powerful tools to optimize energy generation and meet modern energy demands.

Hybrid Inverter – Order service

Now, the users have the flexibility to order Hybrid inverter sales proposal and Hybrid inverter permit through our expert services.

Battery Only proposal

Solar Installers are increasing selling Storage only systems, to achieve this the user want to generate a battery only proposal without adding a PV system. With Battery only proposal feature we are providing the ability for the User to generate Proposal for selling ESS (Battery) only system. The user will be able to generate proposal without creating design in studio. This feature will cater the needs of those users as well who does not have an existing PV system and is purchasing the battery system for Peak shavings or to power his E.V.

User Management

With the user management feature:

Your administrator can add, modify, or remove users and teams in your organization, and,

Your managers can add, modify, or remove teams in your organization, and,

All users can view their fellow users, the teams they belong to, and view a revamped user profile page with more information and controls.

NOTE: This feature requires your organization to have an administrator user license. Some functionality also requires that you can access Design Studio. Please contact your account manager to know more.

CEC AC Rating(PTC Value)

PTC refers to PVUSA Test Conditions, which were developed to test and compare PV systems as part of the PVUSA (Photovoltaics for Utility Scale Applications) project. The PTC rating, which is lower than the nameplate rating, is generally recognized as a more realistic measure of PV output because the test conditions better reflect "real-world" solar and climatic conditions, compared to the nameplate rating.

In the proposal we will be showing CEC AC Rating which will help US installer design and sell appropriately sized systems, and to more accurately predict their performance.

NOTE: This value is only available for US accounts.

Bug fixes & Optimization

Similar subarrays have been optimized for larger designs with no stringing.

Search issue in project listing and ES portal have been fixed.

Improved the quality of 3D video that is downloaded from studio.
